The upgrade method of DJI products varies according to different equipment types. Here are some common ways to upgrade:
Upgrade via the DJI GO app. Make sure the device is connected to the network, open the DJI GO app, connect to the device, if there is a new firmware update, the app will prompt the user to update, just follow the prompts.
Upgrade by DJI Assistant 2. Turn the device on and connect it to the computer, open the DJI Assistant 2 software, log in to the account, select the connected device, and select the latest firmware from the firmware list to upgrade.
Upgrade online via OTA (Over-The-Air). This approach works for OTA-enabled devices such as the Wizard 4 series, connect the device to the network, check in the DJI GO app to see if new firmware is available, if so, click Update and follow the prompts to complete the upgrade.
Manually upgrade using firmware packages. For specific equipment such as remote control, download the firmware package of the corresponding device from the official website of DJI, put the firmware package on the device, disconnect the computer connection, the device will automatically start to upgrade.
During the upgrade, ensure that the device battery is sufficient and the network connection is stable, and restart the device as required. If any problem occurs during the upgrade, for example, the upgrade fails, restart the device and upgrade the device again.
